📅 January 10, 2025 – GSoC Discovery

🎇 Some journeys begin with a single spark.
For me, that spark came on January 10, 2025, and it lit the path that led me into the heart of open-source contribution.

💡 The Moment It Clicked

That evening, while casually scrolling through Reddit and reading a few tech blogs, I stumbled across a post about Google Summer of Code (GSoC). I had seen the name before, but this time something felt different—so I clicked.

🔗 That single click changed everything.

I landed on the official GSoC website, and within minutes I was exploring archived projects, contributor stories, and the incredible journey many students had taken. I was hooked.

🚪 A Doorway to Opportunity

The more I explored, the clearer it became—GSoC was more than just a program. It was:

✅ A platform to collaborate with real-world open-source organizations
✅ A chance to be mentored by experienced developers
✅ A meaningful way to grow and contribute in areas I care deeply about—AI, NLP, and developer tooling

What struck me most wasn’t just the code, but the community behind it.

✍️ The Goal Was Set

By the end of that day, I had made a commitment to myself:

🗣️ “I want to be a GSoC Contributor in 2025.”

It wasn’t just a casual wish—it was a bold goal.

That moment of curiosity turned into intentional preparation, and that preparation became the foundation of my GSoC journey.
